Marty Lacker, Red West, Sonny West, Lamar Fike, and Billy Smith are (individually and collectively) good - honest - caring - passionate - hard working - men. It is not by some "fluke" that Elvis handpicked each of these men, rewarded them with employment, and remained CLOSE friends for (in most cases) OVER 3 decades. Because there is no "single point of contact", for the Memphis Mafia (i.e. Website, address, telephone number, fax, etc.) most Fans are unable to convey their thoughts and thanks to each of these men. Once and a while someone will do a "video", whereby these men share stories about Elvis (which is wonderful and cherished), but then once the video ends (and you want "more") there is no easily accessible way to pursue them. I have often conveyed my wish for Elvis Estate to HONOR these men, and their family members, and make them a constant/integral part of Elvis' life and legacy AND monetarily pay them so that they can enjoy their lives AND contribute to Elvis Fans Worldwide AND spend time with their families. It is WRONG that those who Elvis loved are "fractured" against each other for various reasons. These "emotions" blind the reality that we have already lost too many people Elvis loved, worked with, and cared out. How many more must we leave before this "painful WRONG"...is righted? By agreeing to come together, with grace, does NOT mean there weren't "reasons" for hurt feelings but there are hurt feelings on both sides so the emphasis should be on building the FUTURE wiith the Memphis Mafia as a respected and integral part.

I have been collecting signatures, about this very issue to send to the appropriate parties, and we are please to have OVER 100,000 in less than 3 months. My intent is to keep this going for another 6 months, providing that my health stabilizes, and then "release publicly the findings which should prove that the Fans REALLY WANT the Estate and the Memphis Mafia to have a mutually rewarding/respectful relationship so that the "hurt feelings" can heal once and for all.
