  • Agreed it tries to show this

    But

Its clear it shows how easily a face can be changed AND  GIVES A BIG NEGATIVE TO THE COTNER ARGUMENT.

Im sure cotner is laughing his as off at pretending to be elvis and people believing him.

And its really clear that guy is not elvis  !

  • You're right, we can manipulate a video or a picture for one or the other theorie.

It would make more sense to use a photo from August, 1977 instead of one from 1970. Elvis obviously looked much different by August of '77. I believe that this video can support the wax dummy theory because the body in the coffin looks more like the 1960's Elvis.

It depends on the beliefs of the one who is watching...

Like all the arguments advanced by the 2 theories.

    All the best...

  • I agree, Bolo

I also agree with you, Bolo. Despite of it's intention that video is about how a picture can be faked.

  • To Yelserp . . . . .

Just to reply to Yelserp's post.

I believe totally that Eap's death was faked in August 1977. But I believe he had a LOT of help for very important reasons. I've always felt this and always will.

I don't believe the photo of 'Jesse' is Elvis. But I do believe the photo of 'Jon Cotner' is Elvis.  I believe that there is no 'Jon Cotner', it's a name added to all the photos & recordings, my belief is, that it is Elvis. You mentioned the Bible cds Yelserp before I went away, I believe that is Eap under the name of Jon Cotner.

    For what it's worth those are my beliefs . . . . . . . .

i do nothing but laugh at this side.

  • Re: The people who pretend to be Elvis on the internet!

The most intriguing thing about Jesse's famous picture is that it doesn't resemble Elvis as much as other "characters" like Cotner, Burrows (his picture is nothing but a joke) The Man With A Broken Leg (:))), etc...

In fact, Jesse resembles Rick Stanley, or someone else because of the picture's poor quality, not Elvis at all...  It makes no sense, and and almost noone can take Jesse's story as  truth.  That's why this picture remains mysterious. I can't find a reason why it was sent to L.H.S. ,if she says the truth. She had nothing to gain with that... neither Mr Hinton... who has lost part of his life. Maybe Jesse's story was part of a conspiracy that was finally aborted or didn't come to an end.

  • people who pretend to be Elvis

I don't believe that the picture of Jesse on LHS's site is Elvis.  I have not read the book that Dr. Hinton wrote, but why would he put his credibility and career on the line?  It seems to me, that he really believed he was treating Elvis.  I am confused, did he ever meet this person face to face?

  • To Suspiciouslady . . . . . .

Hello Suspiciouslady, nice to see your post.

I saw an interview with Dr Hinton on one of your newsreels, and he did say that he had not actually met 'Jesse'. But how long ago that interview was recorded I don't know. I thought it rather strange that he had not actually met his patient!!

I am sure the picture of 'Jesse' is not a picture of Eap. But then again is the picture a redherring?! I do believe Eliza, and the book she is auctioning is by 'Jesse', and I believe it was signed by Eap in 2008? So the picture could be a redherring. . . . . . . . . . .

Hello Adorable, I have to ask, what is a redherring?

  • Redherring . . . . . .

Sorry Suspiciouslady, I'm really chuckling here, a redherring is something to put people off the scent. I am so sorry . . . . . . .

  • redherring

Oh!  that's funny!  I kind of thought it might mean something like that, but I have never heard that before.  Well, I believe you might be right, it could be a "redherring" then!

  • Red herring ..

Hi there Suspiciouslady and Adorable; wonderful translation Adorable of our very English 'red herring'; one of those expressions we know in the UK and probably unheard of in the US.  I really loved that!

  • Red herring

Well, that is one word that I will definately remember!  I may even use it from time to time.
